hi team, we have some questions regarding your cards processing capability:

1. MIT Support — Network Transaction IDs:
Could you verify and confirm the ability to send network transaction IDs for MIT transactions?
(a) that you return the network/scheme transaction ID in CIT responses, and
(b) that your API supports sending a network transaction ID in MITs originating from CITs processed by other providers.

2. MAC & ISO Code:
Do you currently support ISO 8583 response codes and Mastercard Merchant Advice Codes

  • Visa: Are ISO codes returned and passed through in your transaction responses?

  • Mastercard: Are MAC codes returned and passed through in your transaction responses?

Based on the provided documentation, Maya does not explicitly support:

  1. MIT Network Transaction IDs: There is no evidence that Maya returns Network Transaction IDs (NTIDs) in CIT responses or accepts NTIDs in MIT transactions originating from other providers. The API responses and transaction flows described do not include fields for NTIDs.

  2. ISO 8583 Response Codes and Mastercard Merchant Advice Codes (MAC): The documentation does not confirm that Maya returns ISO 8583 response codes or Mastercard MAC codes in transaction responses. While some error codes (e.g., 2051, 2090) resemble ISO 8583 codes, they are presented as Maya-specific or acquirer error messages, not as standardized ISO 8583 fields. There is no mention of MAC code transmission in any API response or error structure.

Hi @Maitrinh2026, Could you share further details and use-cases why would you be requesting for the network transaction IDs, and MAC & ISO codes for the transactions?

for online payments, transaction details would be responded back to you through webhooks. To see the fields of webhook responses, it is similar with Get Payment endpoints: Retrieve Payment via ID.

Then for errors and declines regardless of which scheme, these are usually mapped to specific online payment errors: Online Payment Errors

Then for terminal payments, I suggest that you coordinate with the assigned Maya Relationship Manager to your account.
