Critical Delay in Webhook Deliveries / Transactions Stuck in Pending

On May 16, 2026, our application stopped receiving timely webhook updates from Maya.

For example, a transaction was created on 2026-05-16 18:36:17, but we did not receive the corresponding webhook update until 2026-05-18 02:41:21. This severe delay has resulted in multiple transactions getting stuck in a Pending state.

Please investigate if there is an issue with the webhook delivery queue on your end.

Hi @jmtolibas, as a fallback for instances like these, you can check the status of the transactions via these endpoints:

GET /payments/v1/payments/{paymentId} → Retrieve by payment ID
GET /payments/v1/payment-rrns/{rrn} → Retrieve by request reference number
GET /payments/v1/payments/{paymentId}/status → Retrieve payment status
