If Maya QR Code expiry is set to expire within 10mins, and the average customer takes about 1min to complete the payment transaction from the time they scan the QR Code, what happens if the customer scans the QR Code at 9th minute 30s timestamp, will the customer be able to complete the transaction at the 11th minute or will the QR expire midway the transaction completion?
If a customer scans a Maya QRPh code at 9 minutes and 30 seconds into its 1-hour validity window, they will be able to complete the transaction even if it finishes at the 11th minute. The QR code expiry only prevents new scans after the expiration time; once scanned, the transaction is processed to completion regardless of how long it takes. The system does not interrupt an ongoing payment after the QR code has been successfully read.
